Seven Principles

Stolen from MBSR, (but they did not own them to begin with really)

NON-JUDGING – Stop and think before passing judgement. Judgement is GOD’s job not mine. Instead, ask God for discernment.

NON-STRIVING – Stop trying to see everything as a problem to be solved, or a thing that needs fixing. “Cease striving and know that I am God”.

ACCEPTANCE – The sooner you accept something, the sooner you can move on. Particularly those things you cannot change.

LETTING GO – Let go of self, let go of pride, let go of resentment, let go of everything that hinders or stands in the way of serving God and others.

PATIENCE – True lasting change does not happen overnight. Be patient with self. Be more patient with others. WAIT upon the Lord and He will come through with far more, far better results than you would have thought to ask for.

TRUST – Trust God completely with everything. Faith is a form of trust. Believe that God knows you better than you know yourself – because He does.

BEGINNERS MIND – Train yourself to see each moment as though you were experiencing it for the first time. To see each person as though you were meeting them for the first time. “Unless you become as little children, you cannot inherit the Kingdom of God”
